History
Company textile tradition reaches as far as into the year 1828 when the factory with the illustrious name as Imperial Private Mechanical Spinning Mill began to operate in Ajdovščina. This was the first industrial plant in Slovenija and also one of the oldest ones in Europe. In 1910 it employed around 1,100 workers. After World War II the factory was constantly modernized on the foundations of this old tradition.
Today
Tekstina d.d. is one of the oldest textile production companies in Europe today. Few years ago important decision was made to change our collection policy.
